Common Cause/NY applauds Attorney General Schneiderman and Comptroller DiNapoli on Wills Conviction
NEW YORK, NY (08/10/2017) (readMedia)-- Today, former City Councilman Wills will get sentenced to two to six years in prison and ordered to pay $33,000 in restitution and a $5,000 fine. Common Cause/NY Executive Director Susan Lerner responds:
"Wills stole from the tax-payers and lied to his constituents. He used his position of power for personal gain. Thanks to Attorney General Schneiderman and Comptroller DiNapoli, New Yorkers got the justice they deserve."
