Concord, MA Resident Hilary Olsen Joins The New Plays Festival

MILTON , MA (10/31/2012)(readMedia)-- Curry College is pleased to announce that Concord, MA resident Hilary Olsen, daughter of Julie and George Olsen, will be playing the role of Willow in Samuel Kielty's The Elephant in the Room as part of the College's Sixth Annual New Plays Festival. Olsen is a 2011 graduate of Concord-Carlisle High School. Currently a sophomore majoring in Communication, she has been seen on the Curry Theatre Stage in Almost, Maine and Twisted Tales, and made her Curry Theatre debut in Almost, Maine. Olsen recently joined the Curry Theatre Supervisory Board as Assistant House/Box Office Manager.
The Sixth Annual New Plays Festival, showcasing original student 5-10 minute one act plays, will run Saturday, Nov. 10th through Monday, Nov. 12th at 7:30 p.m. at Curry College, in the Oscar B. and Frances A. Keith Auditorium at the Academic and Performance Center on the Milton Campus, 1071 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton, MA. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved at 617-333-2259 (Option 2).
Founded in 1879, Curry College is a private, four-year, liberal arts institution located on 135 acres in Milton, MA. Curry extends its educational programs to a continuing education branch campus in Plymouth, MA. Curry offers 20 undergraduate degrees as well as graduate degrees in business, education, criminal justice and nursing, with a combined enrollment of approximately 4,150 students. The student body consists of approximately 2,000 traditional undergraduate students, 1,650 continuing education and 500 graduate students. More than 1,400 of its students reside on the Curry campus. The largest majors are business management, communication, nursing, criminal justice and education. The College offers a wide array of extra-curricular activities ranging from 14 NCAA Division III athletic teams to an outstanding theatre program.
