ROCHESTER, NY (10/18/2014)(readMedia)-- The Nazareth College Art Department will present Continuity: The Nazareth College Art Department Alumni Exhibit, featuring works by more than 60 artists, from November 7-December 6, 2014, with an opening reception Friday, November 7, from 5-7 p.m.

ABOUT THE EXHIBIT

Continuity: The Nazareth College Art Department Alumni Exhibit, featuring works by more than 60 artists who are alumni of the Nazareth College Department of Art, opens in the Arts Center Gallery on November 7. The exhibit was organized by Nazareth College Department of Art professor, Lynn Duggan.

The diverse exhibit includes architecture, ceramics, chalk, drawings, digital work, fiber art, illustrations, jewelry, linocuts, metalwork, mixed media, new media, paintings, pastels, photography, reliefs, sculpture, wood cuts, and more. "There is no theme to the exhibit, except for the common denominator of the Nazareth College Art Department," Duggan comments. "Many talented people have passed through this department and these works are a reflection of that."

ABOUT THE NAZARETH COLLEGE DEPARTMENT OF ART

The Nazareth College Department of Art offers undergraduate programs in studio art, art education, visual communication design, and art history.
