Corey Lewis of Floral Park, N.Y. earns Gaylord Hospital award at Quinnipiac University
HAMDEN, CT (05/29/2013)(readMedia)-- Corey M. Lewis, of Floral Park, N.Y., received the Carissa M. Neubig Award on May 11, at the Graduate Awards Ceremony at Quinnipiac University.
Gaylord Hospital presents this award to a graduating physical therapy student in honor of Neubig, a Quinnipiac alumna and long-time employee of Gaylord Hospital, where she served as chief operating officer. This award recognizes a student who exemplifies Gaylord Hospital's five values: integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.
Gaylord is a premier long-term acute and chronic care hospital located in Wallingford. It provides a continuum of care including inpatient and outpatient physical rehabilitation, medically complex care and sleep medicine. Its programs include spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, ventilator weaning, respiratory management, transitional living, neurological rehabilitation and hand therapy, among others.
