Correction Officer Exam Location Change

ALBANY, NY (04/03/2009)(readMedia)-- Due to the emergency in the area of Binghamton High School, the site for the Saturday, April 4, examination for Correction Officer Trainee has been changed to Binghamton East Middle School, 167 E. Frederick St., Binghamton. Only candidates with admission notices for the Binghamton High School are affected by this change and are asked to report at 10:30 am rather than 9:30 am. Others should appear at the location, date, and time noted on their admission notices.

The New York State Department of Civil Service asks candidates to call one of the telephone numbers on the back of their admission notice if they have questions. Candidates should not call the school.
