Crane Presents Concerts Featuring Trombone, Tuba-Euphonium Ensembles Next Week

SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music Presents Trombone, Tuba-Euphonium Ensembles in Concert on Nov. 4

POTSDAM, NY (10/30/2015)(readMedia)-- SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music will present a joint concert featuring both the Crane Trombone Ensemble and the Crane Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble next week. The performance will be offered on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall.

Directed by Charles Guy, the Crane Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble will present works by Walter Hilgers, Kevin McKenzie, Joshua Cutchin, Marcel Frank, Stephen Oberheu and Dumitru Ionel.

The Crane Trombone Ensemble, which is directed by Mark Hartman, will perform arrangements of works by Richard Strauss, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Georges Bizet, Johann Sebastien Bach, J. Fred Coots and Jean-Francois Michel.

This event is free, and the public is invited to attend.
