Crane School of Music Presents Seventh Annual Sandy Feldstein Music Business Roundtable

SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music Welcomes Music Business Executives for Panel Discussion on Sept. 26

POTSDAM, NY (09/21/2015)(readMedia)-- The seventh annual Sandy Feldstein Music Business Roundtable will focus on how to find employment in the music industry this weekend. The Crane School of Music will welcome five accomplished music business executives for this engaging panel discussion.

Sponsored by the Crane Institute for Music Business and Entrepreneurship, the roundtable event will be offered at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26 in the Proscenium Theater, located in the Performing Arts Center.

All are welcome to attend this free event, to experience an exciting hour of conversation, explore the changing world of music business and learn about new opportunities for today's students.

The panelists for this year's roundtable include:

  • Andy Zildjian, president of Sabian Ltd., one of the world's top cymbal design and manufacturing companies, based in Meductic, New Brunswick
  • Greg Cornell, performing and recording artist with The Cornell Brothers Band, a Brooklyn-based roots music quartet
  • Bob Popyk, founder of Bentley-Hall Inc., a marketing communications firm based in Syracuse, N.Y.
  • Allison Carney '99, co-owner, Brick & Mortar Music, a service music store based in Potsdam, N.Y.
  • Tony Verderosa '86, owner of KBV Music, a New York City record label, creative licensing and music supervision firm.

Crane Institute for Music Business and Entrepreneurship Executive Director Carol "Kickie" Britt '69 will serve as the moderator for this discussion.
