Crawford receives three scholarships from ECU's Department of Education

Amy Crawford, left of Roff, received the Billie Fathree Floyd Education Scholarship, the Dr. John Densford Award for Academic Excellence, and the Dr. Norman Frame Memorial Endowment during the East Central University Department of Education's 2019 Spring Awards Luncheon. Pictured with Crawford is Billie Fathree Floyd, longtime educator and former ECU faculty member. That scholarship, established by Floyd's family, friends and colleagues, goes to those who are majoring in elementary education and planning to teach physical education at the elementary school level. The Dr. John Densford Award goes to a student who has completed 45 credit hours and has been admitted to ECU's teacher education program. Densford was a longtime faculty member as his family, friends and colleagues established the scholarship in his memory. Dr. Norman Frame was a longtime instructor at ECU as his friends and family established the scholarship to assist students in their pursuit of a degree in education. The student must have been admitted to the teaching program as well.
