MILTON , MA (03/10/2012)(readMedia)-- The Curry College Women's and Gender Studies program is proud to feature a thought provoking multimedia exhibit by local artist and activist Susan Eisenberg through the end of March. "On Equal Terms" is a colorful collection of writing, art, photography and artifacts that highlight the history, obstacles and achievements of women working in the trades.

The installation is displayed in the alcoves of the Parents Lounge at Curry College. Eisenberg will return to campus on March 21 at 7 p.m. to share insight about her work, present show slides, recite poetry and explain the historical and social context for her work in an evening event open to the public.

For thirty years, Eisenberg has created scholarly, artistic and activist work about women in the construction industry. Her book We'll Call You If We Need You: Experiences of Women Working Construction was a New York Times Notable Book of the Year. Her exhibit "On Equal Terms" is a multi-media installation that has been displayed at Brandeis and Suffolk Universities and will appear at Michigan State next year.

At Curry, Eisenberg will display a "shortform" of her installation, to conclude March 27. For more information, visit www.curry.edu
