Dallas McRae named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for the second time this season

Wheaton senior defensive lineman Dallas McRae earned selection to this week's D3football.com Team of the Week for his performance in Saturday's 63-0 victory at North Park. This week's selection marks the second time this season that the defensive tackle has earned the recognition, also receiving the honor following Wheaton's win at Monmouth in the opening game of the season.

All four of McRae's solo tackles on Saturday were tackles for lost yardage as he totaled four tackles for a loss of minus-12 yards in Saturday's win at North Park. He keyed a Thunder defense that held the Vikings to just 99 yards of offense (only 1.6 yards per play).

McRae is tied for second in the CCIW in tackles for lost yardage (TFL) this season, with an average of 1.88 TFL in Wheaton's five games. His season average in tackles for loss ranks 35th in NCAA Division III. He has nine TFL this year for minus-47 yards. He is sixth in the conference in sacks with three, averaging 0.60 sacks per game.
