ITHACA, NY (05/10/2012)(readMedia)-- Sandy Hook resident Dan Berlingeri played the role of Angelo in the Ithaca College production of "Measure for Measure."
Berlingeri is a junior acting major with a dance minor. His previous Ithaca College main stage credits include Uncle Peck in "How I Learned to Drive," Sir William in "Coram Boy," and a male understudy in "Eurydice." Also at IC, he played Joe Pitt in "Angels in America," Peter in "Zoo Story," and Tom in "Five Flights." Additional credits include Oberon in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and Oliver in "As You Like It" with the Ithaca Shakespeare Company, and Franz Liebkind in "The Producers" at Edmond Town Hall.
Shakespeare's "Measure for Measure," written in 1604, deals with the political structure and religious instability of Elizabethan England. This production of "Measure for Measure" focuses on the divide between monarchy and commoner in a unique world.
