David Quackenbush Honored at Western New England University

SPRINGFIELD, MA (06/28/2013)(readMedia)-- David P. Quackenbush of Middle Haddam, Conn., received the Outstanding Student in Sport Management Award during Baccalaureate ceremonies at Western New England University. Curt Hamakawa, associate professor of Sport Management, presented the award to Quackenbush saying "David's enthusiasm and initiative in pursuit of his goals have served him well during his academic career, and I am confident they will continue to pay dividends in his professional and life pursuits ahead."
Graduating magna cum laude, Quackenbush is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Lambda Delta honor societies. He is currently a management trainee for Team Epic, an experiential marketing company and has worked with the 2013 Super Bowl, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Launch Party, the SEC Men's Basketball Tournament, and the NCAA Women's Final Four. While at the University, Quackenbush traveled to South Africa for the 2010 FIFA World Cup study abroad course.
