DeLaurentis Twins from Mount Royal Receive Academic Awards from University of Scranton

SCRANTON, PA (06/20/2011)(readMedia)-- Michelle and Stephanie DeLaurentis, Mount Royal, were among the 68 students honored by The University of Scranton during its undergraduate Class Night ceremony. The Jesuit university awarded outstanding members of the Class of 2011 for academic achievement and service.
Michelle was the recipient of the Mary E. Quinn Award for Excellence in Secondary Education. She received a bachelor of science, summa cum laude, in secondary education and English.
Michelle was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta and Sigma Tau Delta honor societies. She also participated in the Student Education Club of The University of Scranton.
Michelle plans to seek employment as a high school English teacher while pursuing a Master of Science degree in school counseling at The University of Scranton.
Stephanie was the recipient of Excellence in Occupational Therapy Award. She earned a bachelor of science, summa cum laude, in occupational therapy.
Stephanie was a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta honor society and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
She plans on completing her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy at The University of Scranton.
Both are graduates of Kingsway Regional High School, Woolwich, NJ.
