Democrats Cover For Spitzer

ALBANY, NY (09/06/2007)(readMedia)-- Today's comments by the Democrat State Committee, and the Senate Democrats during the hearing involving the State Inspector General, are just the latest attempt to detract attention from the critical need for a thorough, unfettered investigation into the Spitzer Administration's involvement in the Troopergate scandal.

The people of New York State overwhelmingly demand that Governor Spitzer and his administration come clean and tell the truth under oath. Any attempt by the Democrats to muddy the waters and confuse the issue with partisan rhetoric is merely political subterfuge that the people of this state will not accept.

At this point, the people have to ask themselves, why are Governor Spitzer and state Democrats going to such great lengths to avoid telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?
