Des Moines University Students Honored for Service

Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences in May honored 146 students in its 10 graduate degree programs who demonstrate efforts to improve lives in our global community through volunteerism. Each student volunteered more than 50 hours during the 2023-2024 academic year. In its seventh year, the DMU Student Awards program recognizes those who commit to representing DMU with integrity and upholding its institutional values of accountability, collaboration, honesty, inclusiveness and wellness while volunteering, reporting and reflecting on their experiences.
