Destination Lehigh Valley Coming to NCC

Workshop series will provide training for travel and tourism professionals.

BETHLEHEM, PA (10/17/2018) In partnership with Discover Lehigh Valley, Northampton Community College (NCC) will offer Destination Lehigh Valley, a series of workshops for travel and tourism professionals and local business owners that explores the positive impact of tourism and business development and teaches best practices for providing outstanding customer service. The series is designed for guest services agents, tour guides, receptionists, and customer service personnel.

The workshops will take place on Wednesdays, October 31, November 7 and 14. The schedule includes:

Oct. 31, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E. Third Street, Bethlehem. Lecture.

Nov. 7, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., includes a tour of the Lehigh Valley and lunch at the Sands.

Nov. 14, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Fowler Family Southside Center, Bethlehem. Lecture.

The cost of the series is $35.
