Dimitrios Voultepsis of Oneonta Recives Scholarship
ONEONTA, NY (12/20/2012)(readMedia)-- Dimitrios Voultepsis of Oneonta, N.Y., was one of two students selected by the Beta Gamma Sigma chapter of the SUNY Oneonta Division of Economics and Business to receive a $1,000 scholarship award for the 2012-13 academic year.
Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International-The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.
Generous alumni support helped make these scholarship awards possible. As a designated Premier Chapter, SUNY Oneonta received a $500 matching scholarship award from Beta Gamma Sigma. Evan Schiele, a 1989 Business Economics graduate, donated the first $500 match, and John Doherty, a 1987 Business Economics graduate, donated additional funds that made possible another $1,000 local chapter scholarship award.
