Donovan Ford Named ASC Player of the Week

BROWNWOOD, TEXAS (12/09/2013)(readMedia)-- The American Southwest Conference today announced it men's basketball weekly award, Port Arthur, Texas native and Howard Payne University guard Donovan Ford was named ASC Player of the Week.

ASC MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Games: December 2-7, 2013

Sophomore guard Donovan Ford  (Port Arthur, Texas/Memorial HS) had a career-high 34 points to go along with four assists in a conference victory over Concordia University Texas. Ford followed that up with a game-high 27 points versus the No. 11 Mary Hardin-Baylor. Ford pulled down 12 boards, was 11-of-11 from the free-throw line and only committed two turnovers over both contests.
