Doug Stoner of Bedford, MA to Debut Video at Mount Ida College Film Festival
NEWTON, MA (02/19/2010)(readMedia)-- Business management major Doug Stoner '10, a native of Bedford, MA and graduate of Bedford High School, will debut his film "The Road Not Taken" at the Third Annual Mount Ida College Film Festival. The eight-minute film is based on the poem by Robert Frost. The festival will take place March 4 through March 6 at the Carlson Hall Auditorium, Mount Ida College, 777 Dedham Street, Newton, MA. The Mount Ida College Film Festival, known as the Best of the Fest, features a collection of award-winning independent films from the Garden State Film Festival (GSFF) as well as a number of videos produced by students from the College. Students who submit videos for the festival compete for over $800 in cash prizes and the opportunity to debut their film at the GSFF in Asbury Park, New Jersey. A special thanks to Diane Raver '73, co-founder of the GSFF, for providing Mount Ida College with many of the award-winning films.
