Dr. Frank Baker of Elderton, Pa., Earns Emeritus Status on Thiel College Board of Trustees
GREENVILLE, PA (12/17/2010)(readMedia)-- Elderton, Pa., resident Dr. Frank Baker, former owner of EcoTech Laboratory and retired professor of biology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, has earned emeritus status on Thiel College's Board of Trustees. Baker is a former trustee of Thiel College, having served on the Board of Trustees from 1985 to 1998. He is married to Mary Baker and has three grown children and several grandchildren.
The Thiel College Board of Trustees is responsible for the oversight of the college, adopting rules, regulations and policies governing Thiel and exercising authority over curricular development, use of property, development of facilities and fiscal and human resources management. As an emeritus member, Baker will have a voice but no vote in board proceedings.
