Dr. Susan Howell will give faculty colloqium at Campbellsville University March 17

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (03/10/2015)(readMedia)-- Dr. Susan Howell, professor of psychology at Campbellsville University, will present a lecture for the Campbellsville University Faculty Colloquium Series on March 17 at 4 p.m. in the Administration Building Room 15 at 104 University Drive, Campbellsville.

The lecture is free and open to the public.

Howell's presentation is titled "Students' Perceptions of Jesus' Personality Phase 2." It is the second phase of an exploration of college students' perceptions of the personality of Jesus Christ as assessed by Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. It is a study that explored the students' overall perceptions of Jesus' personality along with whether they made self-based attributions.

Howell graduated from Campbellsville University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and social work. She graduated from the University of Louisville in 1988 with a master of education degree in counseling and in 1995 with an doctorate in counseling.

She has been teaching at Campbellsville University since 1994 but taught at Austin Peay State University and University of Louisville prior to teaching at Campbellsville University.

She is the wife of Dr. Dwayne Howell, who also serves at CU as professor of Old Testament and Hebrew. They have two children: Patrick and Katelyn, a student at Campbellsville University.
