Inmates to receive special gifts this Easter

ALBANY, NY (03/27/2016)(readMedia)-- Pastor Charlie will be making this Easter a little brighter for the men and women inmates in Albany County Jail.

Tonight over 100 inmates will gather in the old gym in the jail where they will enjoy a special Easter service and after each inmate will recieve a large bag of goodies and a very special service with live music. Every week Victory holds services to up to 160 men and women at the jail.

Every Christmas and Easter something very special is done for the inmates letting them know that God loves them and has a different plan for their lives.

When: 6 to 10 P.M.

Where: Albany County Jail

Who: A team of ex offenders and members from Victory Church.

Today will be a very busy day with a visit to St. Cathrine's children's home and St Ann's every child will recieve a gift bag filled with candy.

Today the churches goal is to reach out to those who are alone and overlooked.
