WILLIMANTIC, CT (10/19/2018) Aspiring college students and families are invited to Eastern Connecticut State University on Oct. 28 for FAFSA Day - Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). From 1-4 p.m. in Webb Hall room 410, FAFSA Day coincides with College Goal Sunday (CGS), an annual program at locations across Connecticut that offers financial aid workshops and assistance.

FAFSA Day is a free service offered by Eastern's financial aid office and is open to prospective and current students. Similar to CGS, the event aims to increase probabilities of receiving fair and equitable financial aid for Eastern's community, particularly for first-time and first-generation FAFSA filers.

This will be the second year that Eastern has hosted FAFSA Day, and the ninth year it has hosted CGS. Students and families can obtain information about these programs at: http://www.easternct.edu/finaid/.
