Ecologist to put microscope on shrew at lecture

PAUL SMITHS, NY (11/01/2011)(readMedia)-- Dr. Tim McKay, an associate professor of biology and environmental studies at Colgate University and director of the institution's environmental studies program, will discuss shrew ecology at the next session of the Fisheries and Wildlife Seminar Series.

Dr. McKay has been at Colgate, in Hamilton, N.Y., since 2000. He began his work on shrews while a graduate student at Penn State; he earned his doctorate in ecology from the University of Georgia.
