POTSDAM, NY (11/16/2012)(readMedia)-- Elimsport native Lt. Col. Abrahm DiMarco, son of Allen and Gay DiMarco, has been appointed professor and chair of military science at Clarkson University.

He received his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the United States Military Academy and his master of business administration degree from Webster University.

Before coming to Clarkson, DiMarco served in various leadership and staff positions in the U.S. Army as an aviation officer and CH-47 helicopter pilot. He has served in units in Kentucky, South Korea, and Alaska and has spent 30 months in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan.

His most recent assignment was as a lead planner in a multi-national NATO Corps headquartered in Lille, France.
