Elizabethtown College Center for Continuing Education and Distance Learning Launches MBA Program

Classes to begin in Lancaster and Harrisburg in January, 2012

ELIZABETHTOWN, PA (08/23/2011)(readMedia)-- The Edward R. Murphy Center for Continuing Education and Distance Learning at Elizabethtown College is pleased to announce the start of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program. Classes will begin in January, 2012 at the Dixon University Center in Harrisburg and at the Burle Conference and Training Center on New Holland Pike in Lancaster.

The MBA program will be offered in six, eight week sessions each year in a classroom environment, online and through weekend immersion sessions to provide a variety of learning options. Students willing to take continuous classes can graduate in two years. The program also provides an easy step-in, step-out format for added flexibility.

The curriculum for the program is designed to provide working adults the skills, knowledge and experience they need to advance in leadership roles within their companies and communities. Classes will contain a mix of accounting, finance, marketing, information systems, economics and ethics and leadership topics which will challenge students to integrate their learning into the real-world business environment.

The Edward R. Murphy Center for Continuing Education and Distance learning at Elizabethtown College (CCEDL) has been a part of the College community for close to 40 years.
