Elizabethtown College, M&M Mars sponsor speakers

Executive Lecture Series continues through spring

ELIZABETHTOWN, PA (01/09/2016)(readMedia)-- Four years ago, M&M Mars, a global manufacturer of confectionery, pet food, and other food products, with a branch in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, partnered with the Elizabethtown College Department of Business to create an Executive Lecture Series. The series is geared toward bringing senior level executives from various industries to talk about their businesses and engage the audience in discussions about programs that are offered to customers.

The executives scheduled to speak in January and February come from communications, finance, economic development and planning. All lectures take place at 11 a.m. at the College and are free.

  • Friday, Jan. 22 -- Joe Boylan, director of Human Resources with Berks Packing Co. Inc. speaks in the M&M Mars Room in the Leffler Chapel and Performance Center
  • Friday, Jan. 29 -- Kathleen A. Pavelko, president and CEO of WITF presents her lecture in the M&M Mars Room in the Leffler Chapel and Performance Center
  • Friday, Feb. 12 -- Lisa Riggs, president of the Economic Development Co. of Lancaster County visits Hoover 212
  • Friday, Feb. 19 -- James Cowhey, executive director of Lancaster County Planning Commission speaks in Hoover 212
  • Friday, Feb. 26 -- Jim Hoehn, regional president of PNC Financial Services Group, Central PA Region, visits the College's M&M Mars Room
