Elyse Rowland Earns Back to Back NE-10 Libero of the Week

PLEASANTVILLE, NY (09/27/2011)(readMedia)-- Pace Junior Elyse Rowland (Antioch, CA/Deer Valley) was named Northeast 10 Conference Libero of the Week for a second consecutive week. Rowland averaged 6.22 digs per set along with seven service aces, which helped lead Pace to a 3-0 record this past week.

She totaled 20 digs and a pair of aces in a win over NYIT and tallied 15 digs and two aces in a win over C.W. Post. The junior finished the weekend with 21 digs and three aces in a victory over Merrimack.

For the season, Rowland currently ranks sixth in the nation in Division II with 5.98 digs per set. In addition, Rowland currently has 1,106 digs for her career.

The Setters return to action on Friday, September 30 when they will travel to Lakewood, NJ for a non-conference match against Georgian Court University at 7 pm.
