Emiliano Valle: Examines medicine and public health in the Caribbean and Latin America

Emiliano Valle says that he was drawn to the University of Iowa's PhD program in history by the opportunity to study under Associate Professor Mariola Espinosa, whose research focuses on the history of medicine and public health in the Caribbean and Latin America.
