Emily Baker of Cedar Rapids chosen as an Established Leader at St. Olaf College

Student honored at Outstanding Leadership Awards Program

NORTHFIELD, MN (04/28/2014)(readMedia)-- Emily Baker '15 of Cedar Rapids was recognized as an "Established Leader" at the recent Outstanding Leadership Awards Program at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. This award is given to three junior or senior students who have demonstrated outstanding personal growth through leadership and involvement in both campus and community life.

Baker was recognized for her leadership in her volunteer organization. She has also been a judiciary member in Honor Council, a member of the Board of Regents Student Committee, the Student Organizations Committee, the business manager of the Manitou Messenger, and a flute player in the St. Olaf Band.

Baker is a graduate of Linn-Mar High School and the daughter of Susan Baker.
