FLAGSTAFF, AZ (01/18/2013)(readMedia)-- Emily McNair, a senior at Northern Arizona University served as the Assistant Kayak Instructor fall 2012 as well as a trip leader on the Verde River trip for students at NAU.
Kayaking instruction is available throughout the semester as well as for course credit.
The Verde River trip is a fun and exciting way for students to learn kayaking navigation and rescue techniques while contributing to the Verde River's preservation and future.
Northern Arizona University's Outdoor Recreation Department offers students a chance to enhance their university experience by connecting with the natural environment and fellow students, while engaging in self-discovery.
