BATAVIA, NY (11/21/2011)(readMedia)-- Emily Troup, a resident of Holley, New York (14470) was among four members of the Genesee Community College women's soccer team who were named to the Western New York Athletic Conference All-Conference team. She was named to the All-Conference first team.
A starter in all 19 games this season, Troup anchored the Genesee defense and also contributed two goals and an assist on offense. She also stepped in to play goalkeeper for three games.
The Lady Cougars finished the season with a 9-10 record and earned a victory in five of their last six contests. Their season ended with a 1-0 opening round loss in the Region III Tournament against Onondaga Community College on October 22nd.
