Emmaus High School Students Place at University of Scranton Computer Contest

Emmaus High School team A came in second place at The University of Scranton's Computer Programming Conest. Emmaus team B came in third place in the competition.

SCRANTON, PA (05/07/2014)(readMedia)-- Students representing Emmaus High School placed second and third among student from nine high schools competing in the annual Computer Programming Contest, hosted by The University of Scranton's Computing Sciences Department. During the competition, 15 teams used their programming language to solve computer-programming problems. The winning teams were chosen based on the number of problems solved correctly and timed completion.

Team members Josiah De Vizia, Andrew Krasinski and Michael Cavallaro from Delaware Valley High School came in first place in the competition. Students Eric Dai, Omar Ahmed and Amy Yang from Emmaus High School came in second place, followed by Alec Francello, Zooey He and Michael Hurlbutt, also from Emmaus High School, who placed third.
