Emmy Award winning journalist to speak at the 2013 New England School of Communications graduation
BANGOR, ME (05/08/2013)(readMedia)-- Graduates from the New England School of Communications (NESCom) will be addressed by Michael St. Peter of Houlton, a three-time Emmy Award winning journalist honored for his coverage of Hurricane Irene in 2011 and the 1993 World Trade Center bombings. St. Peter is currently the Vice President for News at the NBC Universal owned television station WVIT-TV in Hartford, Connecticut.
Susan Faloon of Bangor will also speak at this year's graduation. Faloon, a 1997 NESCom grad, is currently the Communications Supervisor at Bangor Hydro-Electric Company. Prior to that, Faloon worked at Clear Channel and Cumulus radio stations as well as WABI-TV 5 as a producer, reporter, and program director. Faloon will be receiving this year's Outstanding Alumni Award during the ceremony.
A total of 110 NESCom students will be receiving their diplomas on Saturday, May 11 at 5 p.m. in Newman Gymnasium on the campus of Husson University.
