Emotion dance club performs May 4 and 5 at E-town

ELIZABETHTOWN, PA (04/18/2012)(readMedia)-- Each year the Emotion Spring Showcase comes this close to selling out at Elizabethtown College. The highly anticipated dance show takes place this year at 8 p.m. Friday, May 4, and Saturday, May 5, in the College's Leffler Chapel and Performance Center. The Emotion Spring Showcase features 24 dance numbers highlighting jazz, ballet, modern, hip-hop, Tahitian, partnering, cheerleading and lyrical routines.

Doors open at 7:15 p.m. both nights, and tickets are $3 for students; $4 for general admission. To reserve your ticket, email Emotion at emotion@etown.edu or visit the College's Baugher Student Center table between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday, April 30, through Friday, May 4. If tickets remain, they will be available at the door.

As always, the selections and routines were chosen by the student club members, many of whom also choreographed numbers in the winter showcase last semester. The dance showcase is sponsored by Elizabethtown College's Department of Fine and Performing Arts, Theatre and Dance Division.
