Emporia State in Kansas Offers In-State Tuition to Oklahoma Students

EMPORIA, KS (06/27/2018) Students who live in Canadian, Grady, McClain, Kingfisher, Garfield and Grant counties in Oklahoma can enroll at Emporia State University in Kansas without paying out-of-state tuition.

A total of 26 counties in Oklahoma - Canadian, Cleveland, Cherokee, Creek, Garfield, Grady, Grant, Kingfisher, Kay, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Muskogee, Noble, Nowata, Oklahoma, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Payne, Pottawatomie, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington - are included in the regional university's Corky Plus tuition plan, which offers in-state tuition.

Emporia State, named a College of Distinction for its high-impact, real-world learning experiences and active campus life, offers over 200 academic programs in the School of Business, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, The Teachers College and School of Library and Information Management, is consistently recognized for its educational excellence and affordability. Additionally, for two consecutive years, 98 percent of graduates have begun careers in their fields of study or have been accepted into post-graduate programs.
