ALBANY, NY (08/26/2016)(readMedia)-- This Saturday City wide End of Summer back to school outreach at Livingston Park we will be talking about a program that we will be starting called Operation blue light.
America is facing a national crisis. For decades, an underlying erosion of trust in those who protect us has revealed itself in several national injustices. Each injustice has fanned the flames and underscores the need for a lasting solution that will our city and region move forward in a positive way.

Our Nation has seen these challenges before, and the time has come to take action. Operation Blue is about citizens, local government officials, law enforcement and first-responders working together collaboratively to acknowledge and resolve the issues that keep communities in conflict. Together, we can create an environment of cooperation, a shared vision of safe, thriving communities, and a better Capital Region for all.

We will begin to work in areas of need where we can mentor children after school programs helping with homework. Continue getting illegal handguns off the streets and working with beat cops to build community relations.

When: Saturday August 27th. 12 to 3
