Erie County Legislators Present Valentine's for Veterans to members of 107th Airlift Wing Wednesday

NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION (02/09/2016)(readMedia)-- Members of the 107th Airlift Wing, New York Air National Guard, will be presented with Valentine's Day cards on Feb. 10, 2016, in Headquarters Building 90 as part of the Erie County Legislature's "Valentine's for Vets" initiative.

WHO: Erie County Legislative Majority Leader Joseph Lorigo and Legislator Lynne Dixon and Airmen of the New York Air National Guard's 107th Airlift Wing,

WHAT: The legislators will present Airmen of the 107th Airlift Wing with Valentine's Day cards. Students from more than 35 Erie County Schools participated to create custom, hand-made cards for veterans. Each year, the Office of the Erie County Legislature reaches out to the Air Base to present its Airmen with these tokens of love and appreciation.

WHEN: 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016.

WHERE: A representative from the 107th AW Public Affairs Office will meet members of the media at the main gate of the base on Lockport Road at 1:00 p.m.
