Ethan Anderson Excels in CFA Research Challenge

SAINT PAUL, MN (05/14/2012)(readMedia)-- Ethan Anderson, son of Clifford and Marcie Anderson of Mapleton, Minn., was part of a team of five students representing Bethel University's Department of Business and Economics that competed in the recent Minnesota CFA Institute Investment Research Challenge, a prestigious internationally recognized equity research challenge. In intense competition against programs like the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and the University of St. Thomas MBA program, Bethel made a strong fourth-place showing, with just five points separating the team from first place. Placing ahead of the St. Thomas MBA team was a particularly significant achievement for the Bethel group.

CFA Institute Investment Research Challenge participants often see positive results well beyond a strong showing in the competition. Last year's participants saw doors open for internships and permanent job placements, including a financial analyst position at 3M.
