Evan Repsholdt of Lisle Selected by Naval Air Systems Command for Internship

DES MOINES, IA (05/25/2010)(readMedia)-- Evan Repsholdt of Lisle, Ill., a junior computer science and mathematics major at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, will spend his summer working for the United States Navy.

This will be the second consecutive summer that Repsholdt has worked at the Naval Air Systems Command Patuxent River Naval Base in Maryland. His duties last year as an engineering technician included working in the aircraft simulation lab, helping with briefs for an admiral and learning about infrared countermeasures. He also studied aircraft electronic warfare, radar systems and avionic air defense investments.

Repsholdt graduated from St. Francis High School in Wheaton, Ill., in 2008. He is the son of John and Rita Repsholdt of Lisle, Ill.
