Exira Breeder Wins at State Fair Simmental Show
DES MOINES, IA (09/10/2009)(readMedia)-- VanAernam Simmental Farm of Exira won Grand Champion and Iowa Champion Bull in the Simmental Cattle Show August 22, at the 2009 Iowa State Fair.
The Reserve Grand Champion Bull banner was awarded to Hook Ranch: K-Kim Inc. and B. Tucker of Manhattan, Kan. and the Reserve Champion Iowa Bull banner went to RB Simmentals of Correctionville.
Trey Jass of Garner took the titles of Grand Champion and Iowa Champion Female. Reserve Grand Champion and Reserve Iowa Champion Female honors were awarded to Finesse Livestock Enterprises of Geneva.
The Grand Champion Foundation Female banner was awarded to Oak Meadow Farms of Harmony, Minn. while Kevin Kleinman of Wentworth, Mo. took Reserve Grand Champion honors.
