Experts to Hold Press Briefing Debunking Governor Hochul's Misinformation Campaign to Gut Climate Law

ALBANY, NY (04/20/2026) (readMedia)-- On Tuesday, as Governor Hochul continues to push for a rollback of the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) in the state budget, environmental and legal experts will hold a virtual press briefing to debunk the Governor's repeated claims that more cannot be done on climate, and explain how her embrace of fossil fuels is hurting New Yorkers.
