Fall River Resident Amanda Cook Inducted Into Sigma Beta Delta at Curry College

MILTON , MA (04/04/2012)(readMedia)-- Curry College management student, Amanda Cook of Fall River, MA, was inducted into Sigma Beta Delta, the International Honor Society of Business, Management, and Administration, on Tuesday, March 27.
Amanda joined other students and one honorary member at the induction ceremony and dinner on the College's Milton Campus. The inductees celebrated this exciting honor with friends, family, Sigma Beta Delta members, and the Management Department.
To be considered for invitation to the Society, the highest national recognition the Curry College Management faculty can offer, students must rank in the upper 20 percent of their class. Sigma Beta Delta encourages and recognizes scholarship and accomplishment among students of business, management, and administration and encourages and promotes aspirations towards personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to mankind.
Curry College, founded in 1879, is a private, four-year, liberal arts based institution located on 135 acres in Milton, MA. Curry extends its educational programs to a continuing education branch campus in Plymouth. Curry offers 20 undergraduate degrees as well as graduate degrees in business, education, criminal justice and nursing, with a combined enrollment of approximately 4,150 students. The student body consists of approximately 2,000 traditional undergraduate students, 1,650 continuing education and 500 graduate students. Curry College students come from 31 states and 7 countries. Over 1,400 of its students reside on the Curry campus. The largest majors are Business Management, Communication, Nursing, Criminal Justice and Education. The College offers a wide array of co- and extra-curricular activities ranging from 14 NCAA division III athletic teams to an outstanding theatre program.
