Faribault Native Eric Hildebrandt Recognized as MIAC Academic All-Conference Honoree

SAINT PAUL, MN (07/31/2012)(readMedia)-- Bethel University senior Eric Hildebrandt from Faribault, Minn., was recognized as a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) 2011-12 Academic All-Conference honoree. More than 400 student athletes from the league's 13 member institutions were recognized for their contributions on the field and their excellence in the classroom. Of the 449 total conference student athletes, 32 were Bethel University students.

In order to receive the award, Hildebrandt had to be an above average student, have an above freshman ranking and record a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a scale of 4.0. Hildebrandt also had to participate in at least 50 percent of his basketball team's regular-season varsity contests.
