Llama Love: Hooves on Adventure

All NEW this year is a fun-filled, family-friendly event all about llamas! Take on the Llama Obstacle Course, try the Llama Kissing Booth, enjoy warm Llama Hugs, dive into Fiber Making, test your knowledge with Know Your Llama and get crafty with Llama Crafts. The selfie opportunities will be endless! Tickets are limited for this VIP llama experience; you won't want to miss out on the llama fun!

Barnyard Yoga

THREE NEW Barnyard Yogas for 2024! Mini Hereford (cow) Yoga, Goat Yoga and Baby Animal Yoga! This isn't the most intensive workout, but it is guaranteed to be an experience loaded with giggles, cuddles and just the right amount of cuteness to put you in a good mood. Tickets required for each class. All participants will receive a tote bag and swag bag. Classes fill up quickly, so register today! Presented by Iowa Healthiest State Initiative.

Cuddles and Snuggles Chore Time

Back by popular demand – gather the family for Cuddles and Snuggles Chore Time! It's your chance to help with morning chores, wake up the baby animals and check out the behind-the-scenes action in the Animal Learning Center. This VIP experience is for families who have always wondered what it takes to care for all the mamas and babies in the Animal Learning Center during the Fair! Space is limited to families of 6 members or less and tickets sell out fast.

Fair After Dark – Glow Party in The Garden

Experience live music while wandering through The Garden, drink in hand. This is your night at The Garden. Discover the magic of The Garden's glow! Enjoy trivia, a scavenger hunt, glow sticks and flower crowns at this exclusive VIP event. Tickets are limited, and attendees must be 21 or older. Prizes will be awarded and ticket purchase includes two drink tickets. Don't miss out on this unforgettable evening!

Fair After Dark – Fair Games

Tug-of-war, Mr. Legs, husband calling, hog calling, beard-growing, pie eating, bubble gum blowing and the cowgirl queen contest are some iconic Fair contests. This night is all about your chance to try these contests and so many more! Gather your friends and family to join in the fun that has made the Iowa State Fair famous nationwide. Tickets are limited to this behind the scenes, VIP event, and attendees must be 21 and over to attend. Prizes will be awarded, and two drink tickets are included with each ticket purchase.
