Fellin earns All-America honors in 60m

Michael Fellin became Kutztown University's first-ever All-American in the 60-meter dash when he claimed Second Team honors by placing 12th overall during Thursday's preliminary heats at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Fellin, a junior from Sheppton, Pa., placed fifth in heat two of three with a time of 6.72. He recently set the school record with a 6.65 at the PSAC Indoor Championships. Fellin was making his first appearance at the national meet.

Second Team All-America honors went to finishers 9-12, while the eight sprinters advancing to Saturday's final will earn First Team accolades.
