Fitzhugh's Alexandria Carlson receives Edna Mae Query Cooley Business Scholarship at East Central University

Alexandria Carlson, of Fitzhugh, was the recipient of the Edna Mae Query Coley Business Scholarship during East Central University's recent Harland C. Stonecipher School of Business Scholarship and Awards Banquet. The scholarship is awarded to a student from Roff High School who plans to attend ECU and major in business. Cooley taught at Roff High School for several years and established this scholarship in order to help a Roff student achieve his/her career goals. This scholarship can be ongoing for up to eight consecutive semesters. A minimum 3.0 grade-point average must be achieved each semester.
