Five from KU Men's Track and Field Named USTFCCCA All-Atlantic Region for 2024-25 Indoor Season

Five Kutztown University men's track and field student-athletes have been recognized as All-Atlantic Region performers for the 2024-25 indoor season by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Golden Bears to take home all-region honors include Kyle Archie (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) in the high jump, Michael Fellin (Sheppton, Pa./Marian Catholic) in the 60-meter dash, Trey Hamlin III (Townsend, Del./Caravel Academy) in the triple jump, Gabe Sample (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) in the long jump and TJ White (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) in the high jump.

All-region distinction goes to the top five individuals and top three relays teams from each event in each of the eight regions (Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast and West).

Archie tied for the top mark in the Atlantic Region in the high jump this season with a personal best of 2.07m (6-9.5) at the PSAC Indoor Championships. The freshman from Reading, Pa., captured the silver medal at the PSAC meet and ranks fourth on KU's all-time top 10 list.

Not only did Fellin establish himself as the fastest man in the PSAC, but he was also fastest in the region. The 2025 PSAC indoor champion in the 60m ran a school record 6.65 to claim gold at the PSAC Championships. Fellin, from Sheppton, Pa., went on to earn All-America Second Team honors with a 12th-place finish at the NCAA DII Indoor Championships.

Hamlin III made a smooth transition from football to track & field during his freshman season at KU. In just his second meet with the Maroon and Gold, the Townsend, Del., native put forth a NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 14.67m (48-1.75) in the triple jump at the Widener Winter's Evening Invite. That mark stood as the fifth best in the region at season's end. Hamlin ranks fourth in program history and captured a bronze medal in the long jump at the PSAC Championships.

Sample finished fourth in the region in the long jump after matching his personal best with a jump of 7.25m (23-9.5) to win silver at the PSAC Championships. It was the second straight medal in the long jump (third in 2024) for the junior from Reading, Pa. Sample ranks second on KU's all-time top 10 list.

White, a senior from Reading, Pa., tied for fourth in the region in the high jump by clearing a new career-best 2.04m (6-8.25) at the Golden Bear Invitational in late February. White finished sixth in the event at the PSAC Championships.
