Flagler College announces new additions to College Relations team
ST. AUGUSTINE, FL (06/05/2014)(readMedia)-- Jared Mauldin and Tonya Creamer have been hired by Flagler College as the newest members of the Office of College Relations.
Mauldin will serve as the college's social media and web content coordinator. He will be responsible for creating dynamic content for all official Flagler College social media channels as well as the college's website, www.flagler.edu.
Mauldin has a B.A. in Telecommunications from the University of Florida and previously worked as the multimedia director for the Palm Coast Observer. He also served as a social media and web contributor for First Coast News during NBC's local coverage of the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
"My goal is to use social media to connect current and future students to everything Flagler College and St. Augustine has to offer," said Mauldin. "For me, social media is all about building relationships and connecting people in new ways. Social media is constantly evolving, and I'm proud to be on the Flagler College team as our presence evolves with it."
Creamer has been hired as an events coordinator for the office.
Creamer has a Bachelor of Science degree from Elon University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Art Gallery and Museum Studies from the University of Manchester. Prior to accepting the job at Flagler, Creamer worked as a park services specialist at Fort Mose Historic State Park in St. Augustine.
"It's so exciting to be a part of a team so essential to the college's growth," said Creamer.
Creamer will assist with event logistics, facility requests, as well as the wedding and special event rental program.
