ST. AUGUSTINE, FL (04/02/2014)(readMedia)-- Flagler College Athletic Director Jud Damon will be presented with the 2013 NCAA Bob Frederick Sportsmanship Award prior to the baseball game against Armstrong Atlantic on April 11.

The Frederick Award is given to one person each year across the entire NCAA and honors a coach, administrator or staff member who possesses a demonstrated history of sportsmanship. The award was named for former University of Kansas Athletic Director Bob Frederick.

"I was stunned and incredibly grateful [to receive the award]," said Damon. "I think there are two types of people in the world: the grateful and the entitled. I try very hard to be the former."

The game and presentation will take place on April 11 at 7 p.m. as Drysdale Field in the Flagler College Athletics Complex, 1655 Old Moultrie Road, St. Augustine, Fla.
